The sun came back in Berlin and I have to say I feel a vacation vibe when seeing this happy caravan (even though the holidays are still far ahead of us). I would love to go camping in this one !

De zon is terug komen opdagen in Berlijn en ik wordt er helemaal blij van. Deze vrolijke caravan brengt me helemaal in de vakantie stemming (hoewel de vakantie voor mij nog vrij ver weg ligt). Ik zou met plezier met dit woonhuis gaan kamperen !

I really like the color combinations in this home. I like the pink shades with the gold lamp and candles in the living room, the deep blue color of the HAY chair combined with the marble wallpaper and the white closet with the many details on display. It’s almost like a piece of art.

Ik vind de kleurencombinaties in deze woning erg geslaagd. In de woonkamer is er de zacht roze muur, gecombineerd met de gouden lamp en kandelaars, het diepe blauw van de HAY zetel in combinatie met het marmeren behangpapier en de witte kast vol mooie details tentoongesteld. Je kan dit bijna een kunstwerk noemen.
Some pictures I took a while ago in Dieter Rams’ office in the modern art museum in Hamburg. I think his office is as nice as his design aesthetic: simple, useful and long lasting.

Hier een paar foto’s van Dieter Rams’ bureau die ik een tijdje geleden heb getrokken in het museum voor moderne kunsten in Hamburg. Zijn bureau is zo mooi als zijn design estethiek: simpel, nuttig en gemaakt om lang mee te gaan.
The Centro Interpretação serves as a tourist information point and hosts exhibitions and educational activities at the same time. This building used to be a school’s gym. To respect the architecture of the beautiful building, the architects added two monolithic black volumes which follow the angles of the roof. It preserves the identity of the building and the contrast between the white walls and the black elements is just stunning.

Het Centro Interpretação dient als toeristen informatie punt en een plaats waar tentoonstellingen worden gehouden. Het gebouw was vroeger een turnzaal van een school. Om de architectuur van het mooie oude gebouw te respecteren, plaatsen de architecten twee zwarte volumes in de zaal die de lijnen van het dak volgen. Hierdoor wordt de identiteit van het gebouw behouden. Het contrast tussen de hoge witte muren en de zwarte elementen is adembenemend.

You can also spot some nice props which you can find in here store in Stockholm. My favorite is the cozy hamat attached to chains and full of pillows. Looks so cozy !

Weer een prachtig styling project van Lotta Agaton voor Residence Magazine, gefotografeerd door Pia Ulin. Ik denk dat je haar stijl echt kan herkennen in dit interieur. Een paar van de mooie objecten in het interieur kan je ook terug vinden in haar winkel in Stockholm. Mijn favoriet is de hangmat, vastgemaakt aan kettingen en vol met kussens. Die ziet er echt gezellig uit !

I like how all the black in this interior doesn’t make the place look dark or sad. Instead there is a lot if light beaming through the windows. I’m a big fan of the “Hi” in the bedroom and the white tiles with the black grout in the kitchen. On top of that, the Gubi mirror above the dining table is just gorgeous…it’s on my wishlist for a while now.

Ik vind het mooi hoe al het zwart en de donkere kleuren dit interieur er totaal niet donker of droevig doen uitzien. Integendeel, er straald zonlicht door de ramen. Ik ben verkocht voor de “Hi” in de slaapkamer en de Gubi spiegel boven de eettafel staat ook al een lange tijd op mijn verlanglijstje.
