This is another great example of how contrast can work in a home. Instead of combining dark and light in the same room though, the dining room and bedroom are completely white with some natural wood details, while as the kitchen and living room are rather dark.  I also like the many vintage items throughout the interior.

Dit is weer een mooi voorbeeld van hoe contrasten hun werk kunnen doen in een woning. In plaats van contrasterende kleuren te gebruiken in dezelfde ruimten, is er gekozen om de eetkamer en slaapkamer helemaal wit te houden (met hier en daar een natuurlijk houten detail). De keuken en de woonkamer zijn donkerder ingericht. Ik vind het ook leuk dat er zoveel antieke details gebruikt zijn doorheen het interieur.

This apartment in the nook of the roof is entirely painted white. Just some of the floors are stone. Because of all the white the book wall, the black stove in the kitchen, the old suitcase in the bedroom and the two fireplaces really pop out. I also like the marble stairs a lot.

Dit appartement in de nok van het dak is helemaal wit geschilderd. Enkel de vloeren zijn van steen. Omdat de hele omgeving wit is, vallen de boekenmuur, het zwarte fornuis in de keuken, de oude zwarte koffer in de slaapkamer en de twee open haarden echt op. Ik vind ook de marmeren trap heel mooi.
