I absolutely love the new images from Stelton for their AW16 collection. I have a few pieces of the Theo collection as well and like the matt black in my home. Now they extended this line with some elegant pieces including brass elements. Everything is so nicely combined with the rusty brown tint of the kitchen, such beautiful pictures.

Melo studio has extended their range with a few wooden accessories and a magazine rack. The shelf is my favorite object, with the smooth round corners and soft wood tone. And the styling is so beautifully done as well.

Framed mirrors by Muuto

This is the new ‘Framed’ mirror Muuto recently released designed by Anderssen & Voll. They created a mirror which can just as well hang in the living room as in the bedroom or kitchen. It looks good alone as well as grouped together with another mirror or an art piece. My favorite is the copper one.

You probably already saw the beautiful new wall lamps that Vipp released a few months ago. The wall spot is now available in white as well and I got these beautiful bathroom pictures in my mailbox that I just couldn’t keep from you. I like these elegant white lamps against the concrete flooring and the dark grey wall.

These are the stunning products of the Danish brand Woud. They offer a range of high quality design furniture, lighting and home accessories, each more beautiful then the other. They strive to create long-lasting original design within a universe where every product has a meaning, purpose and function. They mention their designs radiated ‘love at first sight’ and that’s certainly what I was experiencing after seeing their collection for the first time.

A perfect solution for small space living: the 1m2 stairs by EeStairs

post

Stairs can be a great design element and can really enhance a space. I’ve seen some gorgeous floating staircases that take all the attention in the room, which is a great solution if you have a lot of space.

I’ve been showing some great small space apartments on the blog lately and our city lives just require us to find smart and fun solutions to make life cozy and comfortable on a small surface. When I heard about the 1m2 stairs by EeStairs I was just so excited. These stairs just take up 1m2 (hence the name). Most spiral stairs rotate around a center column (or pole). The center column of the 1m2 stairs however is slightly tilted, which allows the stairs to fit almost anywhere. All you need is a 1m2 floor opening: the perfect alternative for a loft ladder.

The designers call it an ‘artistic solution for a functional problem and I think it is just that. The design in itself is an eye-catcher, but it can also be hidden behind the corner or even in a cabinet like in the first pictures. They are available in any RAL color, and the black version is my favorite (you could have guessed that probably). It doesn’t get in the way or take up a lot of space, but still has all the comfort of a fixed stair.

I think this is the perfect solution for small space living: a high-quality fixed steel stairs, designed to solve a problem beautifully. And just in case you have a lot of space available, you can take some inspiration of those beautiful other EeStairs designs as well.

The interior in the third picture is designed by Aeon Architecten
