New Muuto in the house
I thought about it for a while, and now I finally bought the Muuto Louise Campbell candlestick. Needless to say I’m very happy with it !

Superfront gives customers the possibility to create high quality furniture at a sensible price. In order to design and produce high quality at a fair price they make fronts, handles and legs for all of Ikea’s existing cabinet bases. It´s the same cabinets that are used by just about every interior designer today, as well as those who hire carpenters to build expensive tailor-made accessories. They design furniture based on a well-established foundation, a concept that allows their furniture to fall into a completely different price category compared to any equivalent found on the High Street.

‘Curio’, a curiosity box for small objects and collections, is the second design in the series ‘Virtu’. It combines storage space with displaying ones cherished belongings. Smoke glass tunnels form the shells for three small wooden drawers, giving a misty view on the stored items inside.
Tina Schmid designed Tilt, a flexible clothe rack which gives you the illusion of a three-dimensional object in space. I think it’s a statement piece that adds some geometry in your home and is useful as well.
Strik is a snugly armchair, that consists of a frame made of ash tree and a knitted upholstery made of wool – a wooden “body” wearing a knitted “sweater”. The upholstery is reversible and can also be used as a blanket. Kristina Jaer states Strik is rooted in the North and inspired by how we wrap ourselves in warm clothes to protect us from the cold. For the design of this chair, she worked with the meeting between traditional and familiar, in contrast to the modern and surprising. The result is a chair that invites to closeness.
The real good chair (available in copper, my favorite) is lasercut and ships in a flat package. It folds along the lasercut lines to create a dynamic and comfortable chair. A real eye catcher !
