Lotta Agaton has designed a kitchen concept for Swedish Picky Living with solid Douglas wood from Danish Dinesen. Her goal was to get the warm feeling of a living material in your home and I think she succeeded with that to say the least. The starting point for this design was the kitchen for her new studio  in Stockholm.

Kristina Dam studio has just released their new collection for Spring and Summer staying through their natural color palette and their mission to bring art and interior closer together. Kristina Dam’s style and design language is very recognisable and the new items like the Bowl on three legs (my personal favorite) and the Grid Coat Hanger fit in perfectly with the previous collections.

Swedish brand String furniture just released their new collection on IMM cologne and like every season, the images are styled by team Lotta Agaton. They expanded their range of modular shelving systems with mirror cabinets and hangers for the bathroom and a special module for hanging wine glasses for the kitchen. I love how this shelf can suit every style and every purpose in any room.

New minimal shapes and a perfect combination of muted colors and different materials in the latest collection of Swedish brand DBKD. I love how the design is beautiful, but draws all the attention to the plants and florals at the same time.

These beautiful pictures are shot by Line Klein for Broste Copenhagen. After a successful release of their new furniture collection last fall, they continue to add new furniture pieces this spring.  Their subtile and elegant pieces look even better against the architectural details of this shoot location. I love the first picture especially.

Ferm Living SS18

post

I had a sneak peek of the new Ferm Living collection while at IMM Cologne on Monday and fell in love with their stand and the new items. The styled images of the new collection look on point like always and they went for a darker, less colorful palette this time, while still keeping within their beautiful muted color palette which they are so known for. My favorite item from the new collection is the Flying shelf (in the last picture) with its geometric shapes.

The new collection from Muuto mixes pastels with natural materials like wood, leather and brass. The images from the new collection are amazing I think and show the new designs really well. My favorite from the new collection is the Mimic mirror design by Normal Studio.

The TR Bulb designed by Tim Rundle for Menu is a clever solution for modern city living, inspired by the way people are increasingly becoming urban nomads, moving between cities and countries to pursue careers and life experiences.  The TR Bulb is designed to be taken from apartment to apartment – installed by simply screwing it into the pendant sockets hanging in ceiling, no electrical expertise required.

These inspirational pictures from Danish furniture brand Gubi look very inviting and sophisticated.  I like that one part of the catalog has pictures in a warm scenery while the other part has a colder look. The classy furniture pieces look great in both looks though and the location of this shoot was perfect as well.
