Warm beige interior

post

Now that fall weather seems to be all we are getting here in Munich, I’m really drawn to tints of brown and beige like in this stunning Swedish interior. The warm beige walls in the living room go very nicely with the white floors and the all-white and marble kitchen peeking through those old doors. The dark wooden chairs add a certain depth to this look and the white sofa softens and adds lightness again, which is a really good mix.

The bedroom is decorated in a similar palette, yet looks different in a way. Things like the dark beige linen curtains and beige throw combined with the velvet bed really stand out here. I love the vintage pieces like the little desk and the bedside table in this room as well, they add so much character.

Stylish home in subtile colors

post

I really like the grey green wall in the living room of this apartment, combined with the black arm chair, terracotta velvet pouf, the large beige area rug and the warm textiles on the sofa. This combination is both fresh and warm looking, which is a great look.

The bedroom is my favorite room in this beautiful place though, as I love the beige textiles against the cool grey wall here. The black design lamps go very well with this look and really catch the attention.

Minimal studio home

post

The styling of this Swedish apartment is simple, yet so striking. The minimal beige Ikea sofa, customized with a Bemz cover* is paired up with a beige carpet, a beautiful art piece on the wall, and a statement black armchair for contrast.

The beige color palette is continued into the sleeping area and the black accent comes back in the small kitchen dining table as well, which looks so cozy there by the window.

Cozy home in neutral tones

post

I’m not sure if its the combination of beiges and grey of which I’m such a big fan, or wether it’s the beautiful exposed brick wall in the bedroom, but I’m really drawn to this home. It has a certain calmness over it, with a cozy vibe while still maintaining a clean and simple style.

I love that the brick wall goes over into the plastered wall and creates a contrasting line there by the window in the bedroom. Such a nice architectural detail.

Bedroom with a touch of blue

post

Fitted in a very low and small space, yet not sacrificing on style, this all white bedroom is decorated in a simple way. The blue and grey accents on the armchair, carpet and bedding add so much character to a room that would otherwise look boring or clinical.

Light palette home

post

I’m really drawn to this minimal, light and neutral interior. The beige color palette with so many beautiful linen textiles works really calming and the dark wood of the dining table, dining chairs and coffee table ads so much depth to this look.

Warm bedroom with a cute desk

post

I love the wooden wall in this bedroom. It might be a wall paper, I’m not sure, but it works so nicely with the beige textiles and black accents throughout the room. I love the little desk next to the window as well, with the small shelves for displaying small accessories and plants combined with a cute art wall.

Jotun Lady colors 2020

post

Jotun Lady just came out with their new color chart for 2020 and it makes me want to paint all the surfaces in my apartment in those subtile, yet deep tints. I’m really falling for that Local green wall color in the first pictures, which is so perfectly styled with a velvet green couch as well. Loving this look.

Studio home in pink

post

What a bold choice to paint your entire studio home in a nude pink shade isn’t it ? I would never dare to go for such a color but exactly the fact that every single wall is painted in this color makes it work so well.

The combination of the pink on the walls with the white metro tiles in the kitchen area and the wood on the dining chairs works really nicely and the extra module that has been created for the bed is integrated into the living room very nicely.

Home entirely in blue

post

I think blue is such a beautiful color for an interior and it can come in so many different tints. The cool and fresh element in blue wall colors is perfect for the darker season if used in the right space with enough natural light. This Swedish apartment was painted entirely in a multitude of different shades of blue which has such an impressive effect on the space.

When paired up with natural materials like wood and textiles in beige and grey, the mood of the space becomes warmer. The hardwood flooring contrasts very nicely against these wall colors as well and I love that the built in bedroom closet, which doesn’t get any natural light, was painted in white entirely.
