I love the effect plants have on an interior. I kept my plant collection at home modest (except for the expanding collection of pancake cuttings on my balcony) but absolutely love my plants and enjoy taking care of them very much. Plants add so much life to a home and this place is a perfect example of a simple approach to decoration, with the emphasis on green friends.
I especially love all the plants in the bathroom and am thinking of adding more to my bathtub area as well in my place (I’m more of a shower person).
The majority of the furniture used to decorate this home has black wood or dark fabrics, which contrasts very nicely with the warm color of the exposed brick wall and the light wood of the hardwood floor.
The bedroom has a petrol blue wall color, which goes so well with the dark wood of the antique bentwood chairs. My favorite element of this entire place though, must be the big hand fan above the bed. This is such an interesting decoration element and it’s such an eye catcher.
The subtile color palette of this minimal and stylish home really speaks to me. The very light grey walls in the entire apartment combine very nicely with the beige linen curtains*, darker grey of the kitchen cabinets and the light wood of the Mogensen J39 chair.
The brown in the accessories and details that are spread out add a bit of warmth and I like the warm tints in the painting above the sofa as well. The bedroom has this ledge in the wall, which has been decorated with very subtile accessories and I love the rattan carpet at the end of the bed which matches the overall color scheme of the apartment so nicely.
I love the vibe and character of this vintage kitchen in green. The dining table next to the window is such a cozy little corner. The little bench with the sheepskin and the vintage round table fit perfectly with the rest of the kitchen, while as the white Fritz Hansen chairs add a clean and modern touch.
This isn’t the sort of bedroom style I usually share on my blog, but I found this green and beige space just so cozy and inspiring. It’s the combination of the graphic wallpaper, the rattan cupboard, the linen bedding, the round mirror above the bed, and the dried flowers that make this space characterful, yet fresh.
I love the simplicity of this grey and marble kitchen and the way it has been combined with vintage elements like the dining chairs and the glass cabinet against the wall. The simple white shelves add some open storage space for the most beautiful items and the wooden kitchen island divides the kitchen from the dining area perfectly.
The delicate pale green walls in this apartment make for the perfect setting of the many art prints and accessories that turn this small studio into a cozy and inviting home.
The nude and subtile colors in the prints and accessories, paired up with basic furniture pieces in white make this home simple yet characterful. The art prints really do a lot to this interior and I love the painting of the woman above the bed.
Every single season I’m in awe of the catalog pictures of Ferm Living. They create great design which is timeless, yet on trend and they seem to hit the mark every single time again with their stylings as well. They didn’t introduce so many new products to their collection, yet have some new exciting finishes of their furniture pieces and a white version of the beautiful Haze vitrine, which was already my dream piece of their collection in black as well.
This warm beige studio home is decorated in a very subtile way, with simple furniture and only the necessary items, which gives it a spacious look that looks cozy and inviting. I love the many green plants that decorate the floors, tables and window sills. They add a certain freshness only plants can give to a home. My favorite is the big olive tree next to the sofa, it has such a great effect in this room.
I love this soft and cozy-looking bedroom with grey-green walls for sale via Stadshem. The green plants and grass bouquet complement the wall color very nicely and the vintage wood pieces add a little bit of a warm touch to the setup.
The mixture of the brown tones and the white linen bedding is both fresh and warm at the same time and the simple Ikea wall lamps fit wonderfully here. The little desk in this room is very useful as well and even though I wouldn’t want my permanent workplace to be in the bedroom (too tempting to jump into the bed), it’s perfect for small tasks like paperwork and emails.
The black and white art print and the black wall lamp stand out against the backdrop of the wall color in a powerful way.
On the opposite side of the bed, you can find a home office section with a double desk. The white desk paired with the wood tones in the chairs complements the wall color perfectly.
The green plants on the window sill and on the bedside table add a fresh tone to the setting and bring out the fresh undertones in the paint color.
