At the dinner table

Just recently I added an Eames DSW to our chair collection, and I really like how the black looks against the white and wood tints. I also love the light at this time of the year, it’s my favorite season.

There is just something about an all white home. Some people might find this home boring, but I just love how the light reflects everywhere and how everything that is not white just pops right out.

This is the home of Morten Woldum, the Product Development Director at Vipp and his wife. They remodeled and old villa outside Copenhagen into this beautiful space, with big windows to let a lot of light in. The eye catcher of this home is of course the beautiful black Vipp kitchen, which I guess is the central meeting point in this home.

I really like this apartment in neutral colors. The light in the kitchen is so crisp and reflects beautifully against the white table and chairs. In the living room you can see two of my “On the Move” prints.

I really like the soft look and clean lines of this place design by McLaren Excell. The combination of the concrete floors, with the white walls and the soft wooden textures in the rooms looks so nice.

Do you ever walk into a historic building (a museum or an old library) and think: “I wonder what it would be like to live in this place ?” I often do and I think it probably looks something like this home. I really like how they combined furniture and accessories to match with the heavily (but beautifully) decorated walls and ceilings. The kitchen is painted all white, which you are drawn to when looking from the living room. Such a special place this is.

I like the cozy look of this place and the green tints give the place a slight summer feeling. I like the dreamy bedroom here as well, with the old side table, the messy bed, and the prints. The kitchen on the other hand has very clean lines, a tile wall and a marble countertop.
The office space includes a two-person desk with beautiful vintage chairs and a storage module in the middle.

During Milan design week, Danish design company Fritz Hansen turned their showroom into an apartment full of inspiration. In know it’s just a showroom, but can I move in here please ?

I like the dark blue in this home, it brings character to the place, but what I like even more is the kitchen tiles, with which the entire kitchen is covered. It gives you the impression of being in a professional kitchen, but with a cozy touch.

I love the wall colors in this place: from soft green to bright green in the kitchen and green-grey in the hallway, every room has a different tint. It makes me want to try out a green hue in our place as well.
