Tine K Home AW 2019

post

A perfect mixture of modern and classic items in a dark and moody setting in the new catalog images of Tine K Home for this fall and winter season. I especially like those mirrors with the dark border. They would look great in both a rustic and minimal interior I think.

And those mineral walls really are the perfect backdrop for this new collection as well. I think these images were shot in the Kinfolk gallery, though I’m not entirely sure.

Minimal beige home

post

This home is rather small and simple, yet it’s styled in a way that makes it interesting and cozy. I love the terracotta and wood tints in the living kitchen. The dining table looks very nice there in front of the window and I like that it’s matched with this beige painting. The basic sofa in white is enhanced by the design armchair and these two make the sofa area look interesting and modern.

I love the little desk in the bedroom as well. It has the perfect spot there next to the window.

Beige home with warm details

post

This simple yet stylish home looks so cozy and inviting. A lot of personality is added by the many art prints on the wall and the gallery wall in the living room is especially impressive.

The round dining table separates the kitchen area from the living room in a very nice way and the adjacent bedroom looks very soft with the light grey walls and the warm accessories.

Majestic home with great style

post

I’m so amazed by this majestic home decorated with tints of grey, beige, and dark wood. The numerous design pieces, combined with some vintage finds and carefully selected artworks make for a modern, yet timeless interior that looks cozy and inviting. This home belongs to blogger and interior designer Lovisa Häger, who has a perfect sense of style if you ask me.

The big plant in the living room looks really impressive and I love the Serge Mouille lamps that are spread throughout this space. The architectural details on the doors and windows of this turn-of-the-century building are enhanced by the darker grey color, which has a great contrasting effect.

I’m in love with the greige kitchen cabinets and the dark grey color in the bedroom as well, combined with the beige curtains and the beige and white tints on the bedding.

Stylish home in beige

post

This home looks so cozy and inviting don’t you think? I love the different shades of beige walls throughout this space. The living room has been painted in a light shade of beige, which goes very nicely with the contrasting black armchair and the black wall lamp. The light art piece is very impressive here as well and the light tints of the sofa and carpet make this look very delicate.

The bedroom has been painted in a darker shade of greige, which is combined with crisp white linen bedsheets, linen curtains, and a warm beige linen throw.

Cool grey home with a warm touch

post

The cool grey walls in this home almost have a light blue touch and they give a very fresh look to this studio home. Combined with the light wooden hardwood flooring and the many furniture pieces in natural wood tints this makes for a fresh yet cozy look. This cool and warm contrast comes back in the light blue/grey sofa combined with the warm beige rug and the wooden coffee tables. They work so great combined don’t you think ?

I love the picture rail above the sofa and the art prints that are spread all over this home. The subtile striped linen bedding combined with the dusty pink and white pillows looks very elegant as well.

Fresh and cozy home

post

I love the light color palette in this home, which is especially accentuated in the living room with the white furniture and light wooden coffee table. The terracotta textiles work really nice here and really pop out. The vintage dining table in dark wood really adds some contrast here and I love the dark blue walls of the bedroom that come peaking through.

The U-shaped kitchen is fully white as well, matching the style of this home perfectly.

Home with contrasting textures

post

I’m in love with the different textures and materials in this beautiful Swedish home. There is the exposed brick wall in the living room, the bare wooden wing doors leading up to the bedroom, and the dark blue textured wall above the bed. These textures and materials make this home look very interesting and I love the way they are combined.

The kitchen table seems to be the center of the apartment and I think this is a great way to design a space. In my opinion, this is where everyone comes together, isn’t it?

The Nordic kitchen by Nordiska Kök

post
A cream shaker kitchen with stainless steel hardware, grey limestone countertops and a kitchen island

This is the latest project by Nordiska Kök, in a west coast villa outside of Gothenburg, Sweden. This shaker kitchen was created with the intention to capture the essence of Nordic design in both colors and materials, inspired by nordic light. The soft tones and natural materials with classic details are fully adapted to a modern lifestyle. The kitchen is quite large and the layout is created with bottom cabinets only, giving it a light look and feel. The kitchen island includes both closed and open storage space and a built-in wine cooler.

The cabinets are painted in a light and calm greige tone (Color code NCS S3005Y20R) which contrast nicely with the limestone countertop and the warm wood elements of the kitchen, flooring and the warm velvet color on the bar chair*. I love that the open storage elements have these beautiful ceramics (some of them can be found here* or here*)on display in different neutral colors.

Compact Swedish home

post

This small and cozy Swedish home looks both fresh and inviting and is decorated in a simple and minimal way that still shows character and personality. The small round dining table fits perfectly in front of the kitchen window and the black of the chairs combines very nicely with the wood of the table and the dark grey of the kitchen cabinets.

My favorite room in this apartment would be the bedroom, which has fresh looking grey green walls and a multitude of green plants against the wall that pop out so nicely.
