Peek into our bathroom
It’s so important to make the bathroom (and bedroom) a calming and relaxing place in your home. Somehow this was really the last place in our home that I started decorating. I will still change the way it looks, but thought I would give you a little peek of how it looks right now.

Peak into my office
Even though I try to be really organised, my desk always ends up full of things, so while it was empty I took some pictures to show you my office. The rest of the office is still not finished (it’s challenging to store so many prints), but I hope to show you some pictures soon.
As you can see, I surrounded myself with opportunities to store and pin things on the wall. The String Pocket shelf on the left wall is really good for storing small things and decorations and also holds my Beoplay speaker. On the other wall I have the Ferm Living pin board which is magnetic on one side. The chair is the Søborg chair from Fredericia and the desk is Ikea. You can also see the Circular and Triangular watercolor prints on my desk.

Sunday brunch
Sundays are for resting and taking time to have a later breakfast with people you like. I like breakfast or brunch so much, it makes the whole weekend.

Propagating a Golden Pothos plant
I love having plants around the house, especially in winter. I love buying them in flower shops, markets or in bigger plant stores and I love taking care of them over the weekend. It’s almost a meditation for me. I often shop for new species of plants that I don’t have yet, but I never buy the same one unless it dies, which happens sometimes especially while I travel.
With every plant I have, I try to propagate and make a little plant. Sometimes it works out and often it doesn’t. Some plants are so easy to propagate (like a Phillea) and some just won’t work in my case. I’ve had some success with the Golden Pothos plant in the pictures so I wanted to share with you how I did it. There are these brown notes on the green stem of the plant, which you can see well in the second picture I took. Cut a piece of plant right below the note with a sharp scissors and place the cutting in water. The roots for the new plant will grow out of the note and then you can plant it in a small pot. Make sure the cutting has enough sunlight and refresh the water often.
The plant in the bigger pot is a cutting from the other one. I tried potting it in a bigger pot and it has been growing steadily. I hope it will get bigger than the other one so I can place it on a high bookshelf with the leaves falling down.
Weekend cookie baking
I decided to bake some cookies yesterday, a typical winter activity. I’m not such a talented baker (still learning really), but a basic chocolate chip cookie is something I can manage to get right (I used this recipe). Now we can enjoy them with some coffee this afternoon, and cherish a quite Sunday afternoon.
Our bedroom
I shot this picture in my bedroom yesterday while I was cleaning this room (some of you might have already seen it on my Instagram). It’s still very cold here in Munich, but I feel like you can notice the light change in the afternoon a little. I hope spring isn’t too far away anymore and soon I can leave the windows open all day.

Around our home
Some shots I took this week around our home. The days are getting sunnier and lighter which I’m so excited about. I have been working a lot, but have been taking some nice breaks as well and enjoy taking them at home.

Moving things around
I love moving things around inside our home. I tried something else last week and ended up with the bar table as a bedside table which I’m liking very much. Where our bar table used to be I now have space for the lounge chair. Now I just need to add a floor lamp there and I created a new reading corner. Sometimes we just have to keep changing things around to find new possibilities right ?
You can see the Monstera Deliciosa print in our living room and the Botanical no.3 print in our bedroom.

Spring flowers
I treated myself to a bouquet of Ranunculus the other day and it’s amazing what difference it makes in our living room. Just this tiny pop of green, powder pink and white flowers gives a spring feeling to our home, while temperatures outside are still so cold.
