Dit is een styling die Nathalie Schwer  maakte voor het Deense design bedrijf Made by Hand. Ik vind het contrast mooi tussen het donkere hout in de eerste foto en de terracotta potten in de andere twee foto’s met de glanzende witte lampen die overal terug te vinden zijn. De foto’s werden gemaakt door Line Thit Klein.

A little while ago I blogged about the interior design of the Standard restaurant in Copenhagen. So when we passed the place by the water this weekend around noon, it was obvious that we should have lunch there. The restaurant exists out of four parts and one of them is Almanak where you can have dinner as well as Smørrebrød for lunch. We sat down at a table by the water and I must say the food was as delicious as the interior was pretty. Next time I will come back and try dinner in the other parts of the Standard. I had a peak in Veranda and the Studio and the interior looked just perfect.

Some lovely spring greens styled by Lotta Agaton and photographed by Kristofer Johnsson. I like the idea of the sprouted acorns on top of the vases with the roots barely in the water. I read here that you can keep the acorns in a bag with sawdust in the fridge and they will sprout … I have to try this out next fall, it looks so good.

Mooi lente groen gestyled door Lotta Agaton en gefotografeerd door Kristofer Johnsson.. Ik vind het een leuk idee om eikels bovenaan een vaas te laten rusten met de wortels net in het water. Ik las hier dat als je eikels in een plastic zakje met zaagsel in de koelkast bewaart ze dan uitkomen … dat moet ik ook proberen in de herfst, het ziet er zo mooi uit.

I really like this bedroom shot Anna from Mundadaa took in her home. The plywood bed, the Artek stool, the prints and the painting – they are just perfect together.

Ik vind deze foto getrokken door Anna van de blog Mundadaa in haar slaapkamer erg mooi. Het houten bed, het Artek stoeltje, de poster en het schilderij – alles gaat zo mooi samen.

I think this antique cabinet found a perfect place in this black floored kitchen. It gives the room a lot of character and the old scale of course makes the whole look even better.

Ik vind dat deze oude kast perfect past in deze keuken met zwarte vloer. Het geeft de ruimte veel karakter. De oude weegschaal maakt het geheel natuurlijk helemaal af.
