Dining room and kitchen with a barn door
Big windows, a super high ceiling and a barn door leading to the kitchen. This looks like the perfect kitchen/dining room combo to me.

A beautiful combination of brass and copper tints in these pictures styled by Irina Graewe.
I really like the colors in this Danish country home. The cold light in the kitchen and the muted warm atmosphere in the living room make this home very cozy and inviting.

Last October (I know I’m super late with this blogpost, sorry) when we were at the Dutch Design week, we went to have lunch at Ketelhuis in Eindhoven. I completely fell in love with this old factory, now restaurant and even the toilet area was super nice. If you ever are in Eindhoven – and I suggest you go there during the Dutch Design week, because that’s really the nicest time to visit – you should definitely go have lunch or dinner there.
How nice is this kitchen with the big loft windows ? It seems like the perfect place to gather all your friends for a Sunday brunch. I also really like that you can sit on the window sills in this place. Especially in summer this must be great.

Love this beautiful kitchen in mint green, with the marble backsplash , the white wooden ceiling and the old stove.

This is the beautiful student home of two siblings, inspired by Danish design of the 40′-and 50’s. It certainly looks a lot better then my student home in the days, I gotta say. They strive to find the design pieces that are absolutely right for their place and would rather be without it for a few months then to buy the first thing they see. That’s exactly how I’m trying to decorate my home. I like to take my time and decide on what are the perfect interior elements for my home.

I think this is such a cool apartment. It seems to consist of mainly DIY and vintage furniture, which makes it so personal and special. I like all these plywood cabinets and think it’s a perfect way to make your home exactly how you like it.

We don’t exactly have a big bedroom, but we do have a big bed (it seemed so much smaller in the store, until we came home with it), which basically fills almost our entire bedroom. Needless to say that it was a real challenge to find a bedside table that would fit. I recently bought the Yeh wall table designed by Kenyon Yeh for Menu, which makes use of the wall surface, so it’s perfect for this small space and I really like how it looks as well of course.
Such a simple but beautiful concept, this Dandelion clock designed by Nendo for Lemnos. Every hour a stripe is added, to finally end with the full Dandelion at twelve o’clock.
