I love the combination of the different tints of wood in this home. The floor is of a really light wood, the bench is of an olive wood and the pretty Eames Lounge chair has a walnut back. I think these tints give a lot of character to the interior.

Ik vind de combinatie van verschillende houttinten in deze woning heel interessant. Er is voor een vrij lichte houten vloer gekozen, in combinatie met verschillende meubelen in andere houttinten zoals de Eames lounge chair uit walnoothout en het zitbankje uit olijfhout. Deze verschillende houtsoorten maken dit interieur echt karakteristiek.

Ik dacht:  ik toon jullie een mooi apartement in Gotheburg om de week mee te beginnen. Altijd goed niet ? Ik vind het mooi hoe de houttinten en het beige de foto’s een gouden tint geven. Dit maakt de woning heel gezellig en warm. Ik hoop dat jullie allemaal een heel leuk weekend achter de rug hebben en ik wens jullie een leuke start van de week toe !

What I love most about this home is the wood beams sticking out of the roof. They give the house so much character. I guess the Eames lounge chair doesn’t harm the interior either.

Dit is een heel stijlvolle woning, maar wat ik echt het mooist vind zijn de houten steunbalken in het dak. Deze geven het huis echt karakter. De Eames lounge chair kan natuurlijk ook geen kwaad.

The mood of these pictures is rather dark, but somehow I’m really drawn to it. The fact that all walls and floors in this home are concrete is special and makes the few furniture elements stand out a lot. Even though I would like to have a little more coziness in my own home, I really like this style.

Hoewel de sfeer in deze foto’s nogal donker is, ben ik er echt tot aangetrokken. Het heeft iets unieks en speciaal dat alle muren en vloeren uit beton zijn gemaakt. Dit maakt dat de weinige meubelen die er in deze woning geplaatst zijn er echt uitspringen. Ik zou graag wat meer gezelligheid hebben in onze woning, maar ik vind deze stijl toch ook iets hebben.

Normally I try to reduce the number if pictures in my blogposts a little, so as to not overwhelm you with an entire photo album, but with this home I just couldn’t. Every angle of the interior is perfectly styled and brings out new and interesting angles. I especially like the softness of the woods, typical for brands like Hay and Muuto which were used a lot to style this home.

Normaal gezien probeer ik het aantal foto’s in mijn blogpost een beetje te reduceren, zodat ik jullie niet overlaad met hele fotoalbums, maar bij deze woning was dat echt heel moeilijk. In elke hoek van dit interieur is er iets nieuw en interessant te zien. Ik vind vooral de zachtheid van het hout heel mooi, typisch voor merken als Hay en Muuto, waarvan er veel producten zijn gebruikt voor de styling van dit interieur.

Another gorgeous styling project by Lotta Agaton for Residence Magazine, photographed by Pia Ulin. I think you can definitely recognize that this home was styled by Lotta. You can also spot some nice props which you can find in here store in Stockholm. My favorite is the cozy hamat attached to chains and full of pillows. Looks so cozy !

Weer een prachtig styling project van Lotta Agaton voor Residence Magazine, gefotografeerd door Pia Ulin. Ik denk dat je haar stijl echt kan herkennen in dit interieur. Een paar van de mooie objecten in het interieur kan je ook terug vinden in haar winkel in Stockholm. Mijn favoriet is de hangmat, vastgemaakt aan kettingen en vol met kussens. Die ziet er echt gezellig uit !

This apartment has a certain classy style that I’m really attracted to. There are so many items in this apartment that are on my wish-list: the Wishbone chair, New York map poster, the Design House Stockholm lamp, and they are all so perfectly combined. I also really like the stack of pictures next to the Vipp bin at the kitchen wall. It’s a quite unusual place to put art, but it’s really pretty.

Dit appartement heeft een soort van classy stijl waar ik erg tot aangetrokken ben. Veel elementen in deze woning staan ook op mijn verlanglijstje: de Wishbone chair, New York kaart en de Design House Stockholm lamp.  Wat ik ook erg leuk vind is de verzameling ingekaderde poster naast de vipp vuilbak in de keuken. Niet echt de eerste plaats waar ik aan zou denken om kunst te plaatsen, maar hier is het echt passend.
