This is the home of Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen, one of the founders of Norm. He renovated and designed the entire flat for his family. I love how he left the floors bare concrete, but by combining it with some character elements and materials makes the place look warm and cozy.
Jordane Arrivetz is an interior designer who finds her inspiration from different aspects of the design culture, especially the 50s and 60s. The apartment she styled combines modern, clean lines, like the kitchen counter and bathroom, with vintage elements like the old ladder in the kitchen and the frames in the living room. I think both are very well combined and give the apartment character and personality.
I have been working on it for a long time now, and finally I’m able to tell you the news that I started my own jewelry store. Here are a few snapshots of the collection. If you are interested, go check out more at the store here !

I have always been bothered by the cardboard tissue boxes around the house. It’s always handy to have some tissues by hand, but it’s always so ugly inside the house, despite efforts of some brands trying to make the cardboard box more pleasing. This design, the paper pot, is the ideal solution for this problem. It’s elegant, it has a nice design and comes in different colors. You can either put tissues in it, or mount a toilet roll inside. I wouldn’t mind putting this baby next to my bed for the winter colds, that’s for sure.

I read about this apartment on Cherry Blossom blog (really nice blog by the way, you should have a look if you don’t know about it yet), and I thought I should share it with you. I think there is a real romantic vibe going on in this apartment, not too much, just about the right amount. I like the colors and vintage items. Cherry Blossom Blog described the kitchen color as Acne-inspired, I think that’s so true. Even though it’s not a color I would pick for my kitchen, I think here it fits really well, it gives the room a warm and cozy feeling. The apartment itself is from 1930, with nice ceiling details and herringbone floors.

I bumped into this light filled appartement (penthouse) the other day. Who wouldn’t want to live here ? I love the fact that part of the construction is shown and this is really brought to the attention by keeping all walls white. The colored objects and prints accentuate the white walls and the many lines they make throughout the apartment and make it a vibrant place to live.

This is the home of Hanne Berzant, designer and owner of By Nord. These pictures give me a winter feeling, but at the same time, they beam warmth and coziness. Actually I think many of the By Nord products also have this style. You can see that the owner of the house has a great sense of Nordic aesthetics. She lives in this big, light apartment with her husband and three girls. All pictures from here, as seen on Design Attractor.
