This is the wonderful, graphic home of Nynne Rosenvinge. You can see artwork from her popping up in every picture, which makes her home very personal. Also, I love the solution she has for storing her prints. I will have to find a solution like that soon as well to store all the prints for my shop.

This is the lovely old townhouse of Sofie Christensen Egelund (co-owner of Vipp) in Copenhagen. The new design of the Vipp kitchen and modern furniture matches very well with the old bits of the architecture of the house.

These gorgeous pictures are taken in one of nine Houston row-houses, which were built as affordable yet comfortable and flexible homes. I like that the light seems to be coming from all sides and bounces of the lines of the angled walls and ceilings.

Deze mooie foto’s zijn genomen in één van negen rijhuizen in Houston, die gebouwd werden als betaalbare woningen met het nodige comfort en flexibiliteit. Ik vind het mooi hoe het licht langs all kanten binnen stroomt en weerkaatst op de schuine muren en plafonds.

What a gorgeous white apartment ! I do really have a weakness for white home (as you might have noticed already). Look at how all black and wooden elements really pop out and take stage here. The real eye-catcher is of course the Tom Dixon copper shade. It’s on my wish-list for a while now, and seeing it again here in such a gorgeous environment makes my want to have it even more.

Wat een mooi appartement ! Ik heb echt een zwak voor witte interieurs (dat hebben jullie waarschijnlijk al wel gemerkt). Kijk hoe alle zwarte en houten elementen er zo uit springen. Wat hier ook echt opvalt is de koperen luster van Tom Dixon, die al een tijdje op mijn verlanglijstje staat. Nu ik hem hier nog eens zie in dit mooie interieur staat hij helemaal bovenaan mijn lijstje.

I like the grey color of the cabinets of this kitchen against the soft wooden floor and the black legs of the tables. The colorful cookbooks really get the attention, which makes it a little playful as well.

Everything is white in this home, except for the two tones of LCW lounge chairs in the living room, the soft sculptural CH-24 Wishbone chair in the bedroom and the concrete kitchen counter. Very fine details that stand out surrounded by all this white.

I love the cozy feeling I get when I look at these pictures of the apartment of a Danish couple living in Copenhagen. The big bookshelf makes for a very home-y feeling and I like the copper pans hanging in the kitchen like in the old days.

Er straalt een heel gezellige atmosfeer van dit appartement in Kopenhagen af vind ik. De grote boekenmuur geeft een echt huiselijk gevoel en ik vind de kopere potten en pannen aan de keukenmuur echt iets van vroeger hebben.

The owners of this wonderful industrial apartment remodeled an old button factory in Paris. They wanted to keep the industrial feel to it, but at the same time add some vintage elements, woods and delicate glass and porcelain. I like this contrast of hard and soft a lot.

De eigenaars van dit appartement in industriële stijl bouwden een oude Parijse knopenfabriek om tot wat het nu is. Ze behielden de industriële stijl maar voegden vintage elementen, hout en delicaat glas en porselein toe om het geheel wat zachter te maken. Ik hou van deze combinatie van hard en zacht.
