The Haptic chair focusses on the haptic processes of the sense of touch and on how we are drawn towards object, wishing to investigate and by the hand, activating the sense of touch, to feel tactile differences of the chair. Trine Kjaer designed this chair to stimulate the hands with fine craftsmanship as well as with rough tactile elements.

De Haptic chair richt zich op het gevoels-zintuig en op hoe we ons tot bepaalde voorwerpen aangetrokken voelen en ze willen aanraken met onze handen. Trine Kjaer heeft deze stoel ontworpen om de handen te stimuleren met fijn vakmanschap, maar ook met ruwe elementen.
