I think this turn-of-the-century home is decorated in such a pretty, personal, and characterful way, which enhances the historic details in a modern way. The ceiling in the living room has been painted in a dark grey, combined with light grey walls, while the wall and ceiling colors in the bedroom seem to be the same, yet reversed.

The furniture in the living room has been kept very simple, it’s the artwork on the wall that give this space so much personality and character. The subtle colors in the art pieces contrast with the light color on the floor and the beige fluffy area rug.

The kitchen and bedroom have a darker color palette and I love the vintage cabinet in the bedroom, which has been painted black and combines so nicely with all the linen on the cozy bed.
