A blue kitchen and a blue bedroom wardrobe in a historic Swedish flat

This beautiful turn-of-the-century apartment for sale in Sweden (styled by Emma Fischer and Annica Clarmell, photographed by Walti Höstli for Entrance Makleri) has a large double door connecting the living room with the bedroom, which makes the floor plan semi-open.

The kitchen is completely covered with white tiles on the backsplash that reach the ceiling. The navy blue shaker kitchen cabinets contrast with the white tiles on the wall and the stainless steel appliances and the black wall lamps add a subtle industrial touch.

The bedroom and living room are painted in different shades of grey that pair well. The custom wardrobe in the bedroom has blue doors that match the color of the kitchen cabinets.

The kitchen space comes out onto a balcony and has an L-shaped layout with a small kitchen island in the middle. The navy blue shaker kitchen cabinets work well with the white tile backsplash and the white countertops.

The narrow kitchen island has a countertop that sticks out on two of the sides, which allows for sitting at the breakfast bar.

While the main kitchen element has no upper cabinets to keep the look light, the small L-shape does. This corner kitchen layout is great for storing the fridge and a Moccamaster coffee maker.

The black hardware and the black elements add a contrasting industrial touch to the kitchen design.

A living room with grey walls and a grey sofa

The living room walls are painted in a neutral grey color, making the white ceiling and the white porcelain fireplace stand out. A light grey sofa paired with a light grey textured area rug and a glass coffee table paired with a black sculptural ceiling light complete the look.

Two wood and rattan armchairs add a warm element to the living room, together with the round wood dining table and the brown leather dining chairs.

Through the historic double doors in the living room, you can walk up to the bedroom, which is painted in a subtle light grey wall color with a green undertone. The black headboard paired with the dark wood bedside tables adds a lovely contrast to the room.

A home office desk fills the space in front of the bedroom window, which allows for a wonderful view while working from home.

The built-in wardrobe opposite the window is painted in a similar blue color as the kitchen, for a cohesive effect in the apartment.
