Muuto lanceerde net de nieuwe Cover Chair, ontworpen door Thomas Bentzen. De stoel komt in verschillende kleuren en de designer had de intentie een comfortabele, moderne houten stoel te ontwerpen.
This is the home of artist Mary Trampedach and her husband Gorm Bülow. Her paintings and artworks are spread throughout the house, which makes it a very personal living space. The interior is rather industrial with hardwood floors, metal chairs, bare walls and a black bathroom wall, but her paintings give the home a delicate touch.

Dit is het appartement van kunstenares Mary Trampedach en haar echtgenoot Gorm Bülow. Haar schilderijen en prints zijn in het hele huis terug te vinden, wat voor een zeer persoonlijke touch zorgt. Het interieur zelf is vrij industrieel met de metalen stoelen, stenen muren en de zwarte badkamermuur, maar haar schilderijen maken het geheel wat delicater en vrouwelijker.

In Darkness is a pendant lamp made out of a handcrafted glass shade, leather straps and a classic glowing bulb at the end of a fabric-coated cord. The straps are fastened to the cord holding the shade, while allowing the bulb to hang in free fall through the hole in the shade into the darkness. The shade filters the light that flow sideways into the room, giving the surroundings a dim atmosphere, while the area below is lit up. The lamp was designed by Oyvind Wyller and made in collaboration with Magnor Glassverk .

“In Darkness” is een hanglamp, gemaakt uit een handgemaakte glazen kap, lederen riemen en een klassieke gloeilamp aan een stoffen kabel. De riemen zijn vastgemaakt aan de kabel, zodat de gloeilamp midden in de lampenkap valt die het licht filtert. Hierdoor wordt het licht aan de zijkant gedimd, maar is het werkvlak onder de lamp sterk verlicht. De lamp is ontworpen door Oyvind Wyller en vervaardigd in samenwerking met Magnor Glassverk.
This Danish summer house is located on the north coast, very close to the beach. From behind the pine trees you can see the black walls of this beautiful home. On the inside everything is kept light, with hard wood floors, white walls, a gray kitchen and a few color accents.

Dit zomer huis ligt aan de noordkust van Denemarken, dichtbij de zee. Vanachter de dennebomen zie je los op de zwarte muren van deze mooie woning. Van binnen is alles heel erg licht gehouden met houten vloeren, witte muren een grijze keuken en een paar kleuraccenten.

I love the way so many different prints and patterns find their place into this home. From the framed prints in all rooms, to the patterned pillows and blankets over the displayed dresses and jackets: prints are everywhere to be found. I like how playful this makes this interior.

Ik vind het leuk hoe zoveel verschillende prints en patronen hun plaatsje in dit interieur hebben gevonden. Te beginnen bij de ingekaderde prints die de muren versieren, naar de vele kussens en dekentjes met verschillende patronen, naar de kleedjes met de leuke prints die de slaapkamer en de hal decoreren: je kan hier overal prints vinden. Dit maakt het interieur heel speels, leuk !

This apartment looks so clean and bright with all the whites and beige. The beautiful patterned floor in the hallway and the dark grey floor in the bathroom break this light color palette and bring a great amount of contrast.

Dit appartement ziet er zo stralend en clean uit met al het wit en beige dat is gebruikt. Het mooie patroon van de vloer in de gang en de donkere badkamervloer breken het lichte kleurenpalet en zorgen voor wat contrast met de rest van het interieur.

It probably is too early, but this is such a pretty fireplace. I wouldn’t mind winter with this beauty in our home. But for now, some nice weather arrived in Berlin which we will enjoy to the fullest.

Waarschijnlijk is het nog wel een beetje te vroeg om al aan de winter te denken, maar deze open haard is zo mooi. Met zoiets in je huis valt de winter volgens mijn nauwelijks op te merken. Maar voor nu zullen we nog maar gauw van de laatste zon genieten. Een leuk weekend iedereen !

I’m a big fan of the different materials, textures, patterns and prints that are used in this home. I like the wallpaper in the hallway, combined with the wood of the doors, the artwork in the living room and the statement bookshelf. The bedroom is kept very minimal and white on the other hand, which gives a peaceful impression.

Ik ben een grote fan van de gebruikte materialen, texturen, patronen en prints in deze woning. Ik vind het behangpapier in de hal gecombineerd met de houten deuren echt iets hebben. Ook vind ik de prints en de statement boekenkast in de living origineel. Tot groot contrast is de slaapkamer erg minimaal gehouden, wat voor een kalme en rustige indruk zorgt.

The Reflector Lamp is a small lighting fixture created using simple off-the-shelf products attached to a handmade metal and marble base. The bulb is partially covered with silver, creating a reflector that focuses the light in much the same way as a traditional lighthouse. It’s a celebration of the beauty of old incandescent bulbs.

De Reflector Lamp is een klein lampje, handgemaakt van producten die zo in de winkel verkrijgbaar zijn, vastgemaakt op metaal met een marmeren basis. De lamp is deels bedekt met zilver, waardoor een reflector effect wordt gecreëerd zoals bij traditionele vuurtorens. Het design is een ode aan de schoonheid van de oude gloeilampen.
