Kitchen blues

I like the blue in this kitchen styling. It gives the whole room a traditional feeling, which is balanced out with some modern designs like the Iittala Leimu lamp and the Menu Pot. I think the combination of modern and traditional items can be very strong.

Ik vind het blauw in deze keuken styling mooi. Het geeft de ruimte een traditionele touch, wat in balans gebracht werd door moderne ontwerpen toe te voegen zoals de Iittala Leimu lamp en de Menu Pot. De combinatie van zowel moderne als traditionele items kan heel krachtig zijn.

Christmas in our home

This weekend I finally got around decorating our living room a little bit. I didn’t do much, just a few details, that’s how I like it.

Vorig weekend brachten wij een bezoek aan DMY, het jaarlijkste Berlin design festival. Ik wilde jullie deze week mijn favorieten laten zien, maar ben er niet toe gekomen. Onder het motto “beter laat dan nooit”, hier mijn drie favorieten van de tentoonstelling:
