The effect of the different woods combined in this home is really pretty. The floors are of a really light wood, while as the roof has a darker tint. In between these two the furniture has a lot of different wood colors as well. A very pretty combination.

In deze woning zijn er echt heel veel verschillende houttinten gecombineerd met elkaar. De vloeren zijn van een vrij licht hout, terwijl het plafond bezet is met een donkerdere tint. Tussenin hebben alle meubels ook nog eens een andere tint. Echt een mooie combiantie.

I love some coffee in the morning. Especially on a Monday, this is what keeps me going. I just bought a new milk jug from Muuto and now I treasure this morning moment even more.

Usually I’m a fan of light and airy, as you probably already noticed, but these dark pictures just really spoke to me this morning.

Normaal gezien hou ik echt van lichte en witte sferen (en woningen), zoals je misschien al hebt gemerkt hier. Maar deze foto’s met de donkere tinten vind ik ook echt sprekend.

When I read on Emmas Designblogg and Bungalow 5 that Ittala opened its own apartment in Stockholm, where you can have meetings, I just had to share it with you as well. I love Ittala for a long time now. Their design is timeless and spot on. I would love to move in here !

Wanneer ik op Emmas Designblogg en Bungalow 5las dat Ittala een apartement heeft geopened in Stockholm, volledig gestyled met hun producten, moest ik dit toch met jullie delen. Ik ben al lang een grote fan van Ittala en van hun tijdloos design. Ik zou echt heel graag in dit apartement mijn intrek nemen!

I love homes decorated with muted colors. It gives such a comfortable and calm feeling, like in this home. The vintage elements in the house make it very personal as well and they bring out the beautiful herringbone floor and big white windows very well.

Ik hou van huizen die ingericht zijn met mute kleuren (is er een correct woord voor muted color in het Nederlands ?). In dit huis zorgen deze kleuren echt voor een comfortabele en kalme indruk. De vele vintage elementen geven deze woning karakter, en ze brengen ook de houten vloeren en grote witte ramen heel goed uit.

This beautiful apartment is filled with different graphics and lines from different prints and posters on the walls, but also different wallpapers and diamond sculptures and shapes spread on tables and cupboards. The effect is a very personal and cozy home with an artsy touch to it. I also really like the old white barn doors that connect the living room with the study room. I would love to have doors like that in my home !

Deze mooie woning is gevuld met verschillende prints, posters en behangpapier. Over de woonkamer zijn ook diamant vormen verspreid. De prints en lijnen maken deze woning echt heel persoonlijk en uniek. Ik hou ook echt van de oude schuifdeuren die de studieruimte met de woonruimte verdeeld. Ik zou echt heel graag zo van die deuren in ons apartement willen !

I think this home is very cozy. It has hardwood floors, a really big book shelf, sheep skins on the sofa and wood beams, what can I say ? That’s the recipe for ultimate coziness. I also really like the children room in the nook of the roof.

Dit is echt een heel gezellige woning. Een woning met houten vloeren, een super grote ingebouwde boekenkast, schapenvelletjes op de zetels en houten balken aan het plafond, hoe kan het anders dat gezellig zijn ? Ik vind ook de kinderkamer onder het dak heel leuk gedaan.
