I like this grey, monochrome apartment a lot from Folkhem, photographed by Henrik Bonnevier. The neutral colors pop up everywhere: the bottles on the table, the big white closet, the brown insides of the books…all together they give the apartment a very specific character.
Up to now, I have been sharing my inspirations here, which I have enjoyed a lot and I hope you have as well. I decided it was time to share some pictures of our own home here on this blog. So here it is, our living room! The couch is from Ikea, but I made my own cover for it, since I wanted it in grey and they didn’t sell this tint. The table and magazine basket are second hand, which we gave a new color and the pillows are Ikea, Muovo and Ferm Living (actually this last one is a tea towel which I transformed into a pillow case).

Happy Friday everyone, the weekend is almost there ! I’m currently liking the home accessories from Louise Roe a lot. Textures and graphics are perfectly combined and complete each other.
Hay’s About a Chair is on my wish list for a while (both in black and white, I can’t decide). For the spring, the came out with About a Lounge, a lounge chair that looks like the chair. I just love it. The simple lines look so soft and comfy, while the colors are deep and can really make a statement in a room. Needless to say I want this on my wishlist as well. Does it go on yours ?
When I read that this house originally from 1926, I couldn’t believe it. The house got a big transformation into a modern home with straight lines and statement furniture and lights. I especially like the hardwood floors and the contrast of the black tile shower cabin with the white, bright bathroom.
