New Office accessories

post

I like to keep my desk organised as much as possible and even though I’m pretty messy most of the time, I succeed in keeping this area fairly clean. I love a good office accessory and creating a pretty workspace can work very inspiring. I recently added these brass office accessories from Fundamental Berlin to my office table and love the look (notice that the color palette of the black and brass comes back in the lamp as well).

They have a wide selection of geometrically inspired paperclips, trays, bookmarks and picture frames which make for really nice presents as well. They recently released these Milk Espresso cups, which are so simple yet so powerful in their design and feel so soft to the touch. The black marble Kugel Bowl is another favorite of mine and it has already moved from the bathroom to the desk. This is such a beautifully sculptural piece.

Office details

post

I always have so many things laying around on my desk (more then in the pictures, I cleaned up to make these images) and have been using this HAY color crate* to keep my essential things that I always need close by.

These crates come in many different colors and sizes and I have bought three of them so far to keep my home organised. They have a very simple design, yet the color makes them special and they are so cheap as well, a perfect way to organise my things in style.

Current office situation

post

A few weeks ago I got so proud about hanging up the pinboard in my office all by myself only to find out a few days later (when spring weather hit Munich) that it would be way too much of a sunny spot to get any work done in summer. I had to move my desk to the other side of the room, where it works nice as well. I wonder how long it will take me to move my Ferm Living pinboard* this time. It just works so well above my desk and I love just looking up to see my task list or inspiration board.

A Gothenburg office in beige and grey

post

This Gothenburg office in grey and beige was recently styled by the talented stylist of Grey Deco. I think this office space really has a home feeling, but yet is a bit more simple and minimal, the perfect work space if you ask me.

The leather upholstered Fritz Hansen Series 7 chairs that come back in a dining and desk version really enhance this look and the leather stands out nicely against the cooler grey walls. My favorite area is the large meeting table, which really looks like a living room setting. The old doorway was made into a shelf and painted in the same color as the wall for a great tone – on – tone effect.

Simple grey office space

I think you don’t need a lot of space to create a calming and inspiring workspace at home. This small office with grey walls looks very simple, yet has everything you need to take time and do the tasks for the day at the desk. Note the artwork and flowers as well, to give the space a little bit more life.

Peak into my office

Even though I try to be really organised, my desk always ends up full of things, so while it was empty I took some pictures to show you my office. The rest of the office is still not finished (it’s challenging to store so many prints), but I hope to show you some pictures soon.

As you can see, I surrounded myself with opportunities to store and pin things on the wall. The String Pocket shelf on the left wall is really good for storing small things and decorations and also holds my Beoplay speaker. On the other wall I have the Ferm Living pin board which is magnetic on one side. The chair is the Søborg chair from Fredericia and the desk is Ikea. You can also see the Circular and Triangular watercolor prints on my desk.

Office for two

A home office is a great place be creative and to get some work done without having to sit on the kitchen table with your laptop. I loved combined offices for two people. They are space saving and allow you to work together on something.
