A small wallpaper section as a headboard

The beautiful wardrobe around the bed works wonderfully in this large bedroom and it’s a great example of how you can use wallpapers in small sections of your interior design. The wallpaper finishes off the wall in the nook created by the wardrobe, functioning as a headboard of sorts.

How to select bedroom wallpapers

There is a large variety of wallpapers available and the design can affect your room in a great way. If you are trying to achieve a modern look, opt for an abstract or geometric design complemented by clean lines in the furniture. For a more glamorous effect in your space, opt for an art deco pattern.

Go for a striped wallpaper design if you want to add classic beauty to your space or go for floral patterns if you want to create a romantic room design.

The effect of wallpaper designs in different bedrooms

The size of the pattern can have an effect on the room as well. Smaller pattern designs will add more detail and they tend to be more subtle, especially in large bedrooms.

Wallpapers with a large pattern on the other hand will be more bold and tend to make smaller bedrooms appear even smaller.

Studio apartment dividers: 9 ways to separate living and sleeping areas

post

When you live in a small studio apartment, you have to get creative with how you decorate. From selecting a color palette that makes it seem like you have more square footage available, to selecting smaller and functional furniture pieces and finding the right studio apartment dividers to create the appearance of a separate living space and bedroom area.

A curtain on a ceiling track as a room divider

A curtain is one of the easiest studio apartment dividers you can implement and it’s also the most flexible one. You can easily create separation by closing the curtain when you need it and allowing natural light to flow freely into the space when you leave the curtains open.

A shelving unit to separate an open floor plan

The living room and bedroom area in this studio apartment is separated by open shelving that functions as a room divider and lets through some of the daylight coming into the living room.

The bottom half of the bookshelf is solid and functions as a headboard for the bedroom area that includes two sockets. Because of the high ceilings, the bookshelf is continued over the two entryways going over the bed.

A folding screen as a room divider in an open space

A foldable screen is probably one of the most flexible room dividers, as it can be folded when it’s not needed or moved around for a flexible way of separating different functional areas in the interior.

Folding screens come in a variety of designs and you can pick out a room divider that fits the color palette and style of your studio apartment.

A canopy to visually divide a studio apartment

I always find a bed canopy a bit magical and it adds such an impressive style element to any interior. While this type of room divider works best with higher ceilings, it adds the impression of separation without actually fencing off a functional area.

Add a temporary wall as a room divider

Adding a temporary wall requires a bit more structural changes to your studio apartment, yet along with a glass partition, it’s a room divider that has the most finished result. You can add the wall so the newly created nook fits the bed exactly for a seamless look.

Use a glass partition as a room divider that lets the daylight through

Glass partitions are great room dividers, as they separate the living space visually, while still allowing for the daylight to flow freely throughout the space. You can place a fixed glass room divider combined with curtains just like in this studio apartment, or you can add sliding doors to enter the sleeping area.

Use an existing nook as a sleeping space

This is an easy room divider solution, but your floor plan has to be made for it from the beginning. Existing nooks make for a great bedroom area and there is no need to add an extra room divider.

You can go a little further and paint the nook in a different color than the rest of the studio apartment to make the separation more apparent.

Strategically placed furniture pieces make great room dividers

Storage units and furniture pieces are always a necessity, especially in small studio apartments where every piece of clutter is easily noticed. By placing your wardrobe or clothing rack in a strategic spot so it can act as a room divider, you combine two functionalities into one.

Use under-bed storage to elevate the bed from the rest of the studio apartment

You can visually separate your sleeping space from your living room by adding under-bed storage to your bed. This places the bed higher than the other furniture, like the dining area in this apartment, and it will naturally look and feel more separated.

Light grey kitchen cabinets and a sage green bedroom in an eclectic Scandinavian home

post

This beautiful Swedish apartment has a mix of eclectic influences, combined with Scandinavian touches and a shaker kitchen with light grey kitchen cabinets that takes front and center in the interior design of the space.

The bedroom has rounded walls, which are painted in a beautiful sage green wall color, and an improvised hallway section is finished off with a statement wallpaper that finishes off the look of this gorgeous place.

Light grey kitchen cabinets with white subway tiles and wood hardware

The shaker kitchen lies in between the bedroom and the living room and takes a central position in the layout of the apartment. The shaker design of the light grey kitchen cabinets fits the historic character and architectural details of the apartment very well and complements the white walls and the soap-washed hardwood flooring perfectly.

The original crown molding on the ceiling has been extended on top of the upper cabinets of the floor-to-ceiling kitchen to make the layout integrate perfectly with its environment.

The light grey kitchen cabinets are finished off with wood hardware and black appliances, while the white subway tile backsplash finishes this classic look off nicely. The black and white art print above the kitchen backsplash adds character and the brass peg rail is an elegant finishing touch to the look.

A minimal farmhouse-style dining area with a vintage table

The area by the kitchen window has been used for a beautiful dining area that consists of a vintage dining table combined with a variation of bentwood chairs in different wood tones for a characterful look.

The vintage ladder in combination with the Frida Kahlo art print adds a personal touch and the Golden Pothos plant is guided around the window for an interesting visual element in the space.

An eclectic mix of objects in a living room with light grey walls

The light grey walls of the living room complement the light grey kitchen cabinets in the adjacent kitchen. The grey complements the subtle warm tones in the flooring and accentuates the crown molding and the white window frames in this well-lit space.

The combination of the round wood coffee tables with the bookshelf in between the windows ad the vintage cabinet against the wall works wonderfully with the simple grey sofa and the faded oriental area rug in the room.

The cozy reading corner wedged in between the hallway and the vintage cabinet is made to look very cozy with the art prints on the wall and the vintage floor lamp. The magazine holder on the wall combined with the small wall shelf complements this small section of the living room perfectly.

A sage green bedroom with curved walls

The rounded walls of the bedroom make this space a one-of-a-kind interior to start with. The bedroom walls are painted in a sage green wall color which makes it round shape and the white crown molding stand out in an obvious way.

I love the way a custom headboard behind the bed offers a spot for a bedside lamp, plants, and some small deco objects.

The headboard has been painted in the same sage green color as the walls, which integrates this module perfectly in the space. The sockets have been moved onto the headboard as well, which is a nice touch.

The entrance of the bedroom has been used for a custom wardrobe module, and just like in the case of the light grey kitchen cabinets, the crown molding has been applied on top of the wardrobe modules for a seamless appearance. The vintage mirror on the wall adds a classic element to the bedroom decor.

A functional hallway section with an eye-catching wallpaper

Since you enter the apartment straight into the living room, an additional wall was constructed to create a separate hallway section. On the other side, this section has been visually separated by placing a custom wardrobe similar to the one in the bedroom.

To visually separate the hallway and living room, a statement wallpaper was applied to the hallway walls, turning it into a characterful section of the apartment.

A minimalist apartment design with a white and marble kitchen

post

I’m often drawn to minimalist apartment ideas, yet sometimes they can lack coziness and can often be too clean and minimal to the point of almost looking clinical. This beautiful living space shows minimalist living can have character and personality and it’s an excellent showcase of a cozy and inviting, yet minimalist vibe in an interior.

A minimalist living room with white textiles and a dark wood coffee table

The living space in this beautiful apartment contains the kitchen, dining area, and lounge area by the window. These three functionalities are all combined on a relatively small floor plan, yet by leaving enough white space around the furniture pieces, you still get the impression of a clean and open space, which is a great way of decorating a smaller apartment.

The minimal white sofa is combined with a white area rug and white lounge chair which makes for the perfect white canvas along with the white walls in this minimalist home. To add some contrast, the dark wood coffee table and the stools work perfectly in this setting.

While one of the walls has the TV, you can see that all cables have been built into the wall for a clean look. On the other side a large abstract artwork in grey tones finishes off the setting nicely.

A small dining area based upon essential items

While the dark herringbone floors have been covered almost entirely in the living room to create a lighter palette, in the dining area they are kept exposed for a darker setting.

The dark wood dining table and chairs match this palette perfectly and the small table is the perfect choice for this floor plan.

Clean lines in a white kitchen with calacatta viola marble countertops

The minimal white kitchen is built into a niche area on the other side of the window with cabinets on both sides. The clean lines of the kitchen cabinets are enhanced with beautiful calacatta viola marble on the countertops and the side of the kitchen for an eye-catching effect.

The viola marble has also been used to make custom floating shelves located in the negative space on the right side of the kitchen, perfect for displaying small deco items to make to kitchen feel cozy.

The black faucet adds a bit of contrast matching the natural veins in the marble and the off-white walls make the white cabinets and the white trim on the ceiling stand out nicely. The kitchen design matches the neutral tones in the minimalist living room, yet its high-end materials enhance the look of the apartment.

A stripped-down bedroom design with built-in storage space

The cozy minimal bedroom is the most stripped-down of all the rooms in this minimalist apartment with just a few items decorating this simple space. The bed frame and beige fabric headboard are the basis for this clean space and the design is enhanced by the beautiful black metal wall sconces, the black hardware on the built-in wardrobe, and the wood tones at the foot of the bed.

Just like in the living kitchen of this minimalist apartment, a large yet modest artwork decorates the walls of the bedroom. It’s the carefully selected items in different materials and neutral colors that set the design apart and make this apartment elegant and inviting.

A small bathroom covered in white marble

A minimal bathroom decor was the only thing missing on the minimalist apartment checklist and even though the designers had only a small space to work with, the design works perfectly.

The marble tiles in the shower combined with the marble sink and the marble on the toilet work to lift the design and the large and tall mirror helps to create depth and visually makes the space look bigger.

The marble slab on top of the toilet also functions as storage with open shelving behind it to store bathroom essentials. This is a creative solution to save space, no matter how much space you have available.

18 Bedrooms with a greige paint color that will make you want to whip out your paintbrush

post

Greige paint colors are a perfect choice for a calm and tranquil look in the bedroom. Greige, a.k.a gray-beige is a very warm gray that can be perceived as beige depending on the warmth of the natural light coming into a room.

Greige is a neutral wall color that is neither too warm nor too cold, which makes it easy to combine with other colors in your bedroom decor. It’s a great wall color choice for a neutral look that has a little something more than just off-white walls and greige paint colors have been increasingly popular over the past few years exactly for this reason.

Have a look at the inspiring greige bedrooms in the list below and find ideas on how to combine this trendy wall color with the right accessories and soft furnishings. At the bottom of this article, you can find the best greige paint colors to try out a swatch from on your walls.

The greige shade in this bedroom goes more towards a light gray, yet it still has very warm undertones that are contrasted beautifully with the blue tones in the artwork next to the bed.

The gray and white textiles on the bed combined with the dark gray area rug complement the look very nicely, while a narrow white trim on the ceiling brings out the wall color even better.

Greige walls combined with a pop of color

The warm greige walls in this bedroom bring out the white crown moldings on the ceiling and the curtains match the wall color for a tone-on-tone look.

The warm undertones in the paint color are accentuated by the gold wall lamps and the warm tones in the artwork, while the orange blanket on the bed adds a beautiful pop of color to the mix.

Some of the best greige paint colors to try out paint samples from

Below you can find a selection of my favorite greige paint colors. They include warmer and cooler shades and lighter or darker variants.

Since greige is quite a tricky color to get right and the undertones that show will highly depend on the kind of daylight a room gets, I always recommend trying out paint swatches first and leaving them for a while so you can take a look at the paint color at different times during the day.

An apartment with cool grey walls and a blue kitchen

post

This beautiful turn-of-the-century apartment in Sweden has gorgeous crown moldings and floorboards, accentuated by the green-gray and blue-gray paint colors on the wall in the different rooms.

The kitchen and living room are connected to each other in an open layout and the dark blue kitchen cabinets go so nicely with the blue-gray color on the walls. Blue-gray paint colors tend to work best in rooms with warm daylight coming in so that the blue undertone of the paint doesn’t overpower the gray tones.

A living room with a blue-gray wall color, white moldings, white floorboards, white area rug, white sofa, green textiles, fireplace

Blue-gray paint color in the living room

Depending on the angle from which you look at the living room walls, you could call this color a faded sky blue, or a gray-blue. The floorboards in the living room are pretty high, which accentuates the bluish-gray paint colors on the wall, while at the same time contrasting with the warm hardwood flooring throughout the space.

The white sofa and area rug in the living room are complemented with blue and green tints in the textiles and furnishings and I love that a shade of pale blue also comes back in the art print on the wall above the sofa.

The warm wood of the TV cabinet, and coffee table, and the cognac leather on the armchair add a warm touch to the otherwise cool tones in the interior design and the wall next to the window has been used for floating shelving combined with a small home office spot.

Blue kitchen cabinets and white glossy metro tiles

The blue kitchen shares an open-plan layout with the living room and has these beautiful bay windows that let in an abundance of natural light. The kitchen itself has been planned on the walls without windows or doors, to optimally use this space and includes both upper and lower cabinets, which provide a lot of storage space.

The dark blue kitchen cabinets pair up nicely with the glossy white subway tile backsplash and the stainless steel appliances and brass hardware. The blue cabinets on the top go all the way up to the ceiling, just like the backsplash does, which gives the blue kitchen a very elegant look, highlighting the crown molding in the space.

The impressive white oval Eero Saarinen dining table combined with the black &Tradition Betty dining chairs add a beautiful black and white contrast to the cool color palette of the kitchen cabinets.

Gray with green undertones in the bedroom

The bedroom has a very neutral decor, yet the gray wall color with green undertones gives the interior a sophisticated look. I love the way the rattan headboard and the white chest of drawers just seem to jump out of this beautiful wall color and the green tones in the art print above the bed complete the look nicely.

Gray-green herringbone tiles and brass accents in the bathroom

The bathroom is fully tiled from floor to ceiling with gray-green porcelain tiles in a herringbone pattern, which looks quite impressive in the space. The black bathroom cabinet combined with the brass fixture finishes off the look of this bathroom in a subtle yet sophisticated way.

Dark gray walls in an elegant one-bedroom apartment

post

This small one-bedroom apartment in Sweden has been painted entirely in a dark gray paint color, which brings out the elegant turn-of-the-century details of the building. The soft gray walls accentuate the white moldings and floorboards and they bring out the old heaters and the beautiful rounded windows that bring in so much daylight.

The apartment used to be one big room, but while doing the remodeling, the interior designers added a wall to separate the bedroom from the living kitchen. To ensure the bedroom gets a bit of daylight, a glass partition has been inserted above the door.

The medium gray walls are a shade lighter than in this dark gray apartment, yet they are dark enough to add a bit of moodiness and character to the interior.

A living kitchen with dark gray walls, beige curtains, charcoal gray velvet sofa, green textiles, gray minimal kitchen

A dark gray living kitchen with a minimal design

Rather than working with one dark gray accent wall, the entire place has been painted in the same color, including the built-in kitchen. This tone-on-tone look gives the apartment an elegant and sophisticated look.

A minimal kitchen, gray cabinetry, white marble countertops, stainless steel appliances, chrome faucet

The push-to-open kitchen cabinetry has a minimal appearance which pairs up nicely with the white marble countertops and the thin marble backsplash protecting the gray walls.

A minimal kitchen, gray cabinetry, white marble countertops, stainless steel appliances, chrome faucet

The kitchen covers almost the entire wall and cabinets on both the bottom and the top offer a lot of storage space, which is so crucial in a small apartment.

A minimal kitchen, gray cabinetry, white marble countertops, stainless steel appliances, chrome faucet

The stainless steel faucet and appliances finish the kitchen look off nicely and the upper cabinets don’t go all the way up to the ceiling so you can still notice the beautiful crown molding above the kitchen design.

A minimal kitchen, gray cabinetry, white marble countertops, stainless steel appliances, chrome faucet

A living and dining area with a sophisticated look

Even though the living room, dining room, and kitchen have all been included in one and the same room, the space doesn’t look cramped, while still allowing for all those functionalities to find a place.

The black velvet sofa combined with the green and gray velvet throw pillows add even darker tones to the dark walls with wainscoting, while the light gray area rug lightens up the palette. The light-soaped hardwood flooring adds a lighter tone to the space in general and it seems to reflect the natural light coming from the windows.

The living room includes a small dining area, which has strategically been placed in between the two beautiful windows, which are decorated with beautiful sheer beige curtains to warm up the daylight coming in.

Both the dining table and coffee table are the O table design from Ox Denmarq and I love the way the green in the throw pillows comes back in the green velvet Beetle chairs from Gubi, this is a nice touch to the interior design.

The brass accents add an elegant touch to the neutral color palette and the gray wall color in the entire room. These brass and bright color details also serve as the main focal point in the living room section of the space.

A niche space bedroom with the wardrobe hidden behind velvet curtains

The gray bedroom has been placed in the niche space that was created by adding a wall inside the big space, but you can notice there is no door allowing the light to flow from one room into the other. This open layout combined with the glass panels on the top makes sure the bedroom gets at least a little bit of daylight.

The wardrobe has been hidden behind a beautiful velvet curtain that goes wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling and I love the way the blue velvet comes back on the throw and in the velvet pouf that has been used as a nightstand next to the bed.

A tone-on-tone dark gray look in the hallway

The hallway has a charcoal gray wall tone which has been combined with a tall wardrobe and a lower sideboard in the same color. Since the hallway doesn’t get any daylight, the XL round mirror not only serves as a way to check the outfit before leaving the apartment, but it also reflects some of the daylight coming from the windows and it makes the smaller space appear bigger.

Also in the hallway, the brass accent pieces add visual interest to the gray wall color scheme and I love the way the brass comes back in the door handles of the tall wardrobe for a modern look.

Modern farmhouse decor in a Swedish villa

post

This beautiful home belongs to Swedish blogger Johanna Bradford, decorated in modern farmhouse style with a Scandinavian touch and lots of beautiful vintage finds. The house has such great character and personality and each room is designed very differently from the others.

The interior designer and owner of this house integrated modern farmhouse-style elements with modern and vintage pieces, natural materials, and one-of-a-kind pieces to add interest.

A modern farmhouse-style dining room in a light color palette

The white flooring and the off-white wall color in this beautiful dining room form the perfect backdrop for the natural wood tones in the vintage dining table and the J39 chairs in natural oak.

The fabric lampshade above the table adds a classic, rustic appeal to the space without being too overpowering and the clean white bookshelf fits perfectly on the wall next to the window.

The farmhouse aesthetic comes back in the impressive vintage vitrine on the other side of the room, which has been painted in a subtle grey color. The modern bar cart with red tones adds a contemporary spin to this cozy space with a happy mixture of style elements.

An eclectic combination of textures and prints in a modern farmhouse living room

While the hardwood floor of the dining room has been painted white, the living room has the original hardwood flooring, however, a statement textural area rug covers almost the entire living room surface.

The natural elements in the fabrics, different types of wood, and the clean lines in the furniture add a modest touch to the space, which has been spruced up by the bold pattern on the sofa in this modern farmhouse living room.

A sage green and white shaker kitchen with a shiplap and green tile backsplash

The kitchen has a beautiful green color palette, which is one of the examples I also included in the list of the most inspiring kitchens in green. The shaker cabinet fronts add a classic farmhouse look to the space, which is modern at the same time.

The window side of this modern farmhouse kitchen has been covered with a white shiplap backsplash, white upper cabinets, and a marble sink with a gold faucet for a more classic farmhouse style.

The backsplash on the other side of the kitchen however has been covered in deep green backsplash tiles for a modern touch, finished off with white tiling on the hood above the classic stove. This mixture of sophisticated color and rustic texture makes the kitchen design very unique, all while still fitting the modern farmhouse decor of the house perfectly.

The dining area in the kitchen has classic farmhouse furniture combined and I love the way the green of the kitchen color palette comes back in the subtle gingham pillow on the bench.

Shiplap walls in the hallway for a subtle modern farmhouse design

The hallway walls have been completely covered in off-white shiplap and the custom bench and coat rack have been painted in the same color as the wall for an integrated effect. The antique round table in the middle of the hallway matches the design style of this modern farmhouse hallway.

Pattern wallpaper and a fabric headboard in the bedroom

The beautiful pink pattern bedroom wallpaper combined with the classic crystal chandelier and the antique bedside tables set the stage for this beautiful modern farmhouse bedroom. A few modern elements like the fabric headboard, the clean lines in the black reading lamps, and the minimal white wool rug make for a great contrast between styles.

The design of the kitchen cabinets also comes back in the bedroom, where a custom-built wardrobe integrates seamlessly with the modern farmhouse decor. The green plants and green curtains add another color to the palette and I love the abundance of natural light that comes through those bay windows.

A classic bathroom design with an integrated sauna

We can see the farmhouse-style kitchen design come back in the sink area of the bathroom as well, where the shiplap walls have been paired up with a simple round mirror and white marble countertops. The beige hexagon floor tiles have a brown trim that adds a beautiful graphic touch to the space.

This large bathroom consists of two sections: a sink section with storage and a seating area and a section with a bathtub and a sauna.

The modern black metal doors of the sauna contrast nicely with the classic look of the tiled-in bathtub which is finished off with white marble borders and chrome fittings in the tub and shower with subway tile walls.

Modern farmhouse decor ideas you can easily try out in your own home

Modern farmhouse homes like this one can be characterized by a combination of old and new, which can be paired up with reclaimed wood, vintage pieces, and neutral color palettes.

While the effect is more apparent when you transform your entire space, a modern farmhouse look can already be achieved by adding a few modern farmhouse decor elements like a pendant lamp, a vintage dining table, a wallpaper accent wall, or a jute rug. Starting small also gives you time to judge whether you like these decor ideas and if fit your space.

28 built-in wardrobe ideas around a bed

post

Built-in wardrobes will always have a more finished result, which is especially useful when you don’t have a walk-in closet but have to use the bedroom space for both sleeping and storage space.

When you are especially tight on space, or when you want to use your bedroom for other functionalities like a home office or seating area, building your fitted wardrobe around the bed can be a great way of combining functionalities and saving precious floor space which can then be used for a dressing table, desk, or lounge chair.

Blue fitted wardrobes around the bed

This beautiful bedroom with historic details is painted white entirely, which makes the light blue fitted wardrobe around the bed stand out as the focal point and the main feature in the room.

The wardrobe is built with two main modules on each side of the bed, and hanging cabinets above the bed itself, resulting in a niche space for the bed which has been decorated with two simple black wall lamps.

The very top of the fitted wardrobe doesn’t reach all the way to the ceiling to not obstruct the view of the beautiful crown molding in this master bedroom.

Built-in wardrobes in a small bedroom

A small bedroom like this one can benefit so much from around-the-bed wardrobes as there is almost no other way around fitting both the bed and storage space on such a small surface.

In this tiny bedroom, the built-in wardrobes have been constructed above and beside the bed, leaving a space against the wall for a small bed. This result is clearly the work of a professional as there were some uneven wall surfaces to overcome as well.

The wardrobe modules have been painted in the same color as the walls for an integrated effect and the niche space for the bed is the perfect place for an art print in the same color.

Side and above the bed wardrobes in a hotel-style bedroom

Since this bedroom is long and narrow, it would have been difficult to fit large wardrobes to fit all the clothes away from the bed. This bespoke solution with double-door wardrobes on each side of the bed connected with upper cabinets above the bed combines both functionalities in an optimal way.

The niche space created by the wardrobes is filled with beautiful black wall lamps that are attached to the sides of the main wardrobe modules. The overall look of this bedroom has a hotel look and feel because of the niche space, TV on the wall, and the tone-on-tone color palette.

Storage space on both sides of the bed for an integrated effect

While some of the wardrobe solutions in this list require a carpenter, you can achieve a very integrated effect with wardrobes on each side of the bed as well just like in this example.

This will create a niche space in between them that can be filled with wall sconces, a headboard, and artwork for an impressive effect in the bedroom.

Ferm Living decorates a suite at Villa Copenhagen

post

Danish design firm Ferm Living recently decorated a suite in Copenhagen’s rather new yet already renowned design hotel Villa Copenhagen. In what used to be the Central Post & Telegraph head office in 1912, the past, present and future come together. The architectural heritage of the building is used for a contemporary hotel setting with suites and rooms in different designs.

The residential suite designed by Ferm Living is designed to be a home away from home and consists of two bedrooms and a living room area.

A beige living room with curvy furniture, gallery wall, patchwork curtains

A living room with soft curvy furniture pieces

The soft and curvy furniture in beige goes so nicely with the light and darker beige wall and wainscoting colors, for a soft and delicate look and color palette. The true focal point of the suite, however, is the impressive gallery wall that has been spread on the entire wall at the small dining table with a mixture of art pieces and sculptural wall pieces from different artists.

The quilted curtains are a true design element on their own and pair up so nicely with the color palette of the room. The ceiling has been painted in a butter-yellow color that complements the wall color nicely.

The office corner design fits well into the organic design language of the living room, with the Feve desk being the center of this functional corner. The design requires little space and fits perfectly in this area of the suite combined with the Arum table lamp and a few delicate wall shelves to finish off the look.

The bedroom has a rich mixture of textural fabrics on the bed, in the curtains, the headboard, and on the decorative rug on the wall. Together with the area rug and the beige pouf by the end of the bed, they form the perfect backdrop for black accent pieces in the wall lamps, side table, and the details in the pillows.
