I bumped into this lovely home of Alice Flynn, her husband and two daughters over at Design Sponge. Not only does this family live in this beautiful home, they also share a boat with another family, from which you see pictures here as well (the two bottom ones). Their style is a mix of modern, classic and vintage, with a female touch. Every room in the house kind of has its’ own style, but still, the home has this coherent cozy and light feeling.

This is the home of Saskia Fahlsten, found here. Her Copenhagen apartment is a combination of classic and modern design, with objects she gathered during her many travels in Asia, Africa and South America.
Saskia herself calls her style “East meets Eames, who entered the 21st century”. Twice a year, she goes through her home an clears out everything she doesn’t need. It keeps things clean and brings in money to buy new things. By doing so, her house looks very balanced. Everything that’s there has its place, suits a purpose and is thought about.
