There is a nice balance of color going on in this Melbourne apartment. My favorite area in this home is the workspace behind the blue sliding door. When you really have to concentrate you can close the door and shut yourself off.

De kleuren in dit appartement zijn erg mooi in balans. Mijn favoriete plekje in deze woning is de werkplaats achter de blauwe schuifdeur. Wanneer je je echt moet concentreren doe je gewoon de schuifdeur toe om jezelf af te sluiten.

I will have to find a solution like that soon as well to store all the prints for my shop.

Dit is de prachtige, grafische woning van Nynne Rosenvinge. Je kan haar mooie prints in elke foto zien terug komen, wat het hele interieur heel wat persoonlijker maakt. Ik vind ook de oplossing die ze heeft om haar prints op te bergen heel leuk. Ik moet binnenkort ook zoiets bedenken voor al mijn prints in op te slaan.

I think it’s safe to say that I’m addicted to buying notebooks. I know that I’m not the only one (right?) but wonder what it is about notebooks that makes them so easy to go home with. I certainly like starting a new project in a new notebook though, maybe it’s that what makes buying them so nice – the chance of starting a new challenge.

Ik denk dat ik kan zeggen dat ik verslaafd ben aan notitieboekjes. Ik denk dat ik niet de enige ben (toch?) maar vraag me echt af wat het is aan deze schriftjes dat ik ze maar niet in de winkel kan laten liggen. Ik vind het zeker en vast leuk om een nieuwe project te beginnen in een nieuwe schrift. Misschien is het dat wat het zo intrigerend maakt – het begin van een nieuwe uitdaging.

I love the winter-light in this home. It bounces off so nicely on the muted colors in the interior and makes the rooms very cozy. It makes me want to cuddle up in the sofa with a blanket and hot coco.

Ik vind het winter-licht in deze woning heel erg mooi. Het weerkaatst zo mooi op de vage kleuren in het interieur en maakt elke ruimte heel gezellig. Als ik naar deze foto’s kijk zou ik me het liefst in de zetel nestelen met een dekentje en een warme chocolade melk.

The warm grey walls in combination with the pastel details and the strong portraits on the wall make this bedroom very interesting. Wherever you look, you will see something special.

Ik hou van de zachtheid en de gezelligheid die deze slaapkamer uitstraalt. De warme, grijze muren samen met de pastel kleurige details en de sterke portretten aan de muur maken dit een interessante ruimte. Waar je ook kijkt, er is altijd wel iets leuks te vinden. Dit is zeker geen saaie slaapkamer !

This is very clear when looking at her apartment which is very graphic, with some feminine details. The rooms are all defined by clean and simple furniture, combined with carefully chosen details.

Signe, één van de eigenaars van dit stijlvolle appartement in Kopenhagen, is architecte. Ze is elke dag bezig met layout en design, wat ook goed aan haar interieur te zien valt: heel grafisch, met veel vrouwelijke details. De kamers zijn gevuld met enkel de nodige simpele meubelen, waardoor de details echt persoonlijkheid aanbrengen.

The furniture with its grey, pink and purple tints is perfectly in balance with the wall colors and the natural color of the wood floor and the marble table. A perfect winter palette to me, and of course the fireplace also helps achieve this winter feeling.

Ik vind de warme tinten in deze living mooi. De meubelen zijn grijs, roze en paars en in perfecte balans met de kleuren van de muur. Daarnaast worden de kleuren ook perfect aangevuld door de natuurlijke tinten van de marmeren salontafel en de houten vloer. Ik vind dit een perfect winter palet, en natuurlijk helpt de open haard hier ook wel bij.

The artwork in her home really draws all the attention, but my eyes are also wondering in the direction of the CH-24 with there black curvy lines on top of the soft light wooden floor. Pictures are taken by Line T. Klein and the styling is done by Helen Wiggers.

Dit is de woning van Sara Lysgaard, de eigenares van galerij Jules Julian in Kopenhagen. De kunstwerken trekken terecht alle aandacht in de ruimten, al gaat mijn oog ook direct naar de zwarte lijnen van de CH-24 stoelen op de lichte houten vloer. De foto’s werden getrokken door Line T. Klein en de woning werd gestijld door Helen Wiggers.
